FAQ
Is this a pricing change
No. Citrix describes this as a change in licensing architecture. Your commercial terms and existing contracts are not altered by the move to LAS.
Will my environment stop working on April 15, 2026 if I do nothing
File based licenses will no longer function after the deadline. Plan upgrades and LAS activation to avoid disruption.
Do I need Citrix Cloud for daily operations
You need Citrix Cloud to register and activate with LAS. Ongoing activation is service driven. Your product deployment model does not need to change if you run on premises.
What about restricted or disconnected networks
Air gapped customers may request an exception. XenTegra can help evaluate and submit the request.
What if I change hardware
Changes to FQDN, MAC address, CPU ID, or BIOS serial can affect activation. Plan hardware changes with licensing in mind.
